About Me
My name is Noah Light and I am a freshman at James Madison University. Here at JMU, I am a Sports and Recreation Management major with the intent to work in professional sports post-college. I am also a part of the James Madison University Athletics media/photography department.
My experience with a camera started when I was six and was gifted my first camera. I took that camera with me everywhere, taking pictures of everything I saw. Since then, I have always had an eye for the cinematic things in life and have always tried to capture those when I got a chance. I really started taking photography seriously around my sophomore year of high school when I decided to invest in a Sony camera. At Bethesda Chevy Chase High School, I found myself at an institution in which I could thrive through camera work.
From there, I focused on sports photography, taking pictures for my high school football, soccer, lacrosse, and hockey teams. Through these projects I found a passion and decided to take it to a higher level. I had the privilege of taking pictures pre-game at a Washington Nationals game as well as at American University Mens basketball games. I intend on taking photos throughout the rest of college and beyond.
